You can't stop a Terminator. And neither can you stop an Arnold Schwarzenegger who wants to star in another "Terminator" movie.

Thus, we have "Terminator Genisys" the strangely-titled, strangely-badass fifth "Terminator" film, headed to theaters this summer.

The first official trailer for "Terminator Genisys" has just found its way online- for a healthy helping of Schwarzenegger (multiple Schwarzeneggers), killer robots and all your favorite roles recast, watch the video below.

"Terminator Genisys" is not an ordinary sequel- not by a long shot. From what we can glean from the trailer, the film starts out as a retread of the original "Terminator" film- Kyle Reese is sent back through time, to stop a time-traveling robot assassin from killing Sarah Connor. Only, when he gets there, instead of the original Terminator, there's a T-1000- the villain from "Terminator 2: Judgement Day."

Also, instead of the helpless victim that was the original film's Sarah Connor (before she got all buff and hardcore), Sarah's already a battle-hardened leader. And she's got a Terminator of her own, fighting on her side.

What follows is a whole bunch of action mess that seems to cross over multiple time streams.

ScreenRant has what they're calling an "unofficial" snyopsis, which sheds a little more light on all the craziness above.

"The year is 2029. John Connor, leader of the resistance continues the war against the machines. At the Los Angeles offensive, John's fears of the unknown future begin to emerge when TECOM spies reveal a new plot by SkyNet that will attack him from both fronts; past and future, and will ultimately change warfare forever."

But that's not all the "Terminator" news coming our way- Slashfilm has the first official poster for "Terminator Genisys," showing off Sarah Connor and a decapitated Terminator skull. Check it out above.

And check back soon for more "Terminator Genisys" news.
