The new look Charlotte Hornets will head to Rip City and face the Portland Trail Blazers on the road Tuesday night on November 11, 2014. The game will tip off at 10:00 p.m, Moda Center, Portland. The game can be viewed live online via free streaming here.

The Blazers are currently halfway through a crazy portion of their schedule that features six games in just ten days. But with an improved bench depth that limited All-Star Forward LaMarcus Adrdidge's minutes to just 35.3 - his lowest since 2007-08 - and rising point guard Damian Lillard to a career-low 34,9 minutes per game, the Blazers are now sitting  atop the Pacific Division at 4-3 despite the intense schedule and are looking to pick up their fourth consecutive home win against the Hornets Tuesday night according to NBA.com's game preview.

Portland, however, is without their dynamic small forward Nicolas Batum in their game against Charlotte.he team on Monday announced that Nicolas Batum will not play Tuesday against the Charlotte Hornets because of a right knee contusion per Oregon Live.

The newly retooled Hornets who signed rising star forward Lance Stephenson in the off season, meanwhile, have yet to win a game in the road. The team fell 107-92 against the Los Angeles Lakers on Sunday putting them at 3-4 on the young season.

The team will need to avoid another second half meltdown if they have a chance of winning in RIP City. The team lead all two quarters in the half against the Lakers but poor shot selection and an abysmal defense gave Los Angeles the opportunity to make a run at victory.

Free throw shooting will also be an issue that the Hornets need to address as Al Jefferson has struggled from the line this season, averaging only 55.3 percent as opposed to 69 percent last season. Point guard Kemba Walker has also been frustrating in the free throw line as well converting only 69.7 of his shots from the charity swipe - he was shooting 83.7 last season.
