The 2014 MelOn Music Awards recently announced the lineup of performers who will grace the much-awaited award show. The announcement was made on November 6, giving fans more reason to look forward to the event.

The award ceremony, which will be held on November 13, will be graced by performances from idol groups B2ST, SISTAR, WINNER, Girls' Day, as well as solo artists IU, and Taeyang of Big Bang, Allkpop reports. These six artists are part of MelOn's "Top 10" list, which was chosen according to album sales (80%) and fan votes (20%). Other artists who are part of the list include EXO, 2NE1, Akdong Musician, and g.o.d.

"We are working hard to give a special performance to pay back fans who anticipate and love us as the nationally representative music award every year," said a representative from MelOn during the announcement of the performers' lineup, KpopStars reports.

According to Koreaboo, the online votes have increased to a total of 4,370,000 votes compared to last year. Fans can still vote for their favorite artist until November 12.

The award ceremony will be held at the Seoul Olympic Park Stadium on November 13. According to BigBangUpdates, some of the awards to be given are "Best Artist," "Best Song," and "Best Album." The artist who will receive the most votes from the online voting system will be awarded "Web User's Favorite."

The award show will be shown on MBC Music, MBC Every1, and MBC Queen.

K-pop fans from all over the world can stream the award ceremony live via the MelOn website and 1theK's Youtube channel, according to Daily Kpop News.
