Tiffany receives a surprise gift from "Santa Claus" Taeyeon as the girl band continues to move on from the removal of Jessica Jung from "Girls' Generation."

KpopStarz shares that Tiffany has been given a surprise gift by best friend Taeyeon on October 22, which she announced via Instagram. Her caption said, "Bestfriends make it feel like xmas anyday!" According to Taeyeon, she thought of Tiffany and bought the gift. There was also a screenshot of the two conversing via a messaging app where Tiffany says, "Thought you were Santa Clause this morning."

Fans of "Girls' Generation" look at Instagram for updates from their favorite girl band members, and Tiffany is one to update regularly since she created her account in September. Her first post is dated September 16 and since then she has already gained over 800,000 followers.

According to Kpop Herald, Tiffany also posted her new hairstyle on Instagram along with bandmate Yoona, who is yet to make an Instagram account. In the photo, both of them are sporting new hairstyles with fringes.

With the ousting of Jessica Jung from the group, it seems that both parties are trying to move on. Tiffany, along with the seven other members of "Girls' Generation," left for Shanghai the day before she posted a photo of her new bangs for a fan event. Meanwhile, Jung is reported to have rebranded her fashion line, Blanc, which is now called Blanc & Eclare, shares Hollywood Take.

Several websites reported that the reason for Jung's sudden exit from the group was her fashion line, which spurred a word war between her and SM Entertainment.

Jung maintains that the company and the members of the group had expressed support for her fashion line, only for them to eventually change their minds. "I explained that I had already received permission from the agency, that I had never neglected "Girls' Generation's" activities, and that I could not suddenly halt my business due to my contract with my business partner after a month," SBS reports Jung saying.

Tiffany's bestfriend, Taeyeon, was one of the members who spoke up about the incident, saying that she only wanted to protect the group. "The only thoughts I've had since the beginning was to protect SNSD," speaks Taeyeon, as reported by Korea Boo.
