With their wedding only days away, Jessa Duggar and Ben Seewald has been mostly absent on their social media accounts, with several possible reasons circulating the web. After the two's wedding shower last weekend, they will be walking down the aisle on November 1.

Jessa and Ben have reasons to be busy, and that could be why they have been absent from their social media accounts. The Epoch Times says that the Duggar family is preparing for two speaking engagements, which could be another reason for not having the time to share anything online.

According to Starcasm, Duggar and Seewald's wedding shower sported fall flowers, rustic decorations, and chocolate-colored tablecloths. A photo collage complete with hand-painted signs also livened up the venue, with a banner saying "MR. & MRS." on display.

After the wedding, it can be expected that the two will start a family soon. Duggar has expressed interest in starting a family through adoption, Christian Today shares.

Aside from being busy with her wedding preparations, another reason Jessa could be staying quiet from her social media accounts is because of her comment on abortion.

Duggar has been the subject of criticism for her comment comparing abortion to the Holocaust after coming back from the Holocaust Museum, relays The Epoch Times. Seewald's father, Michael, quickly came to the defense of his soon-to-be daughter-in-law. In his blog, Seewalds.com, Michael said: "The Holocaust was the deliberate extermination of a certain class of people." He also added, "Abortion also is the extermination of a certain class of people deemed unworthy to live." In his view, abortion is murder, but legalized, "just as they did during the Holocaust."

Along with Jessa, sister Jill has also been notably absent from the social media world, which Christian Today says could be because of TLC's request to keep things "on a down-low." "The network has reportedly censored the family's anti-abortion shirts in one episode," says the article.

According to Inquisitr, the absence of the two sisters was notable because they used to be active on Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter to connect with their fans. Inquisitr also adds that TLC could have asked the Duggars to use social media less in order to direct fans to the "19 Kids and Counting" website to check for updates.
