Despite recent controversies involving some EXO members, fans of SM Entertainment's highly successful male idol group are still excited for their comeback. While no exact date has been announced yet, their rumored comeback continues to gain much attention.

It was previously reported that EXO will be coming back on the 25th this month. The reports claim that entertainment insiders believe the planned comeback of the idol group will push through by the end of this month, with some rumors suggesting the highly anticipated comeback would happen on the 25th.

If this is true, three groups under SM Entertainment will be promoting at the same time. SM Entertainment's new girl group Red Velvet is currently doing their promotion. They recently released a digital single titled "Be Natural," which is a remake of a song of the same title by the label's former girl group S.E.S. Meanwhile, Super Junior, is scheduled to release their official seventh album special edition called "This is Love" on October 27.

However, new rumors suggest the much awaited comeback will be in November. According to KpopStarz, some people are saying it would be in mid-November. According to the website, SM Entertainment planned EXO's return not overlapping with the promotions of Super Junior who also made their comeback in August with "Mamacita."

The exact date of the comeback has not been decided yet by the record label, KpopStars reports.

EXO has been involved in several controversies this month. Chinese member Luhan filed a lawsuit to nullify his contract with SM Entertainment. The news caused an outrage from fans of the widely followed idol. It also affected the agency's financial stature, with its stocks suffering a significant dip. It was also reported that rival agency YG Entertainment has surpassed SM Entertainment in market value.

Another Chinese member, Tao was also involved in a scandal, after a media outlet posted a video of man with striking similarities with the idol hugging and kissing a woman.

If EXO will indeed have a comeback soon, it remains unclear whether the group will continue as EXO-K (6 members) and EXO-M (4 members) or just the larger 10-member group EXO.
