It was just today that U.S. National Team goalkeeper, Hope Solo finally breaks her silence and spoke out about the recent leaks of her private nude photos along with other well-known personalities on her Facebook page.

The recent massive iCloud hacking of various celebrities' phones have resulted in the release of nude photos of personalities and celebrities like Kate Upton, Jennifer Lawrence, Kim Kardashian, and of course Hope Solo herself.

Hope had this to say on her Facebook post:

"It is extremely sad and unfortunate that the rights of so many women were violated by the unauthorized release of private photographs. This act goes beyond the bounds of human decency and, as such, I stand united with all the women affected and am exploring every option to protect my privacy. In addition, while I understand that the public desires more information regarding the allegations against me, I continue to maintain my innocence against these charges. And, once all the facts come to light and the legal process is concluded, I am confident that I will be fully exonerated."

This has been met with mixed opinions including support and distrust for Hope Solo since she was arrested back in June 21, 2014 for fourth degree domestic violence assault against her sister and her nephew. She pled not guilty to the charges and her hearing will start on November 4, 2014. If Hope Solo is convicted she faces up to 6 months in jail.

A lot of people are saying that of course she should advocate the right to protest against the leaks of her private nude photos but she shouldn't use it as a scapegoat to garner public support in her domestic violence case.

But amidst all the outrage, Hope Solo was given the go signal to continue playing for the U.S. National Soccer team in this statement given U.S. Soccer President Sunil Gulati as reported by NYPost. Gulati goes on to say that, "U.S. Soccer takes the issue of domestic violence very seriously. From the beginning, we considered the information available and have taken a deliberate and thoughtful approach regarding Hope Solo's status with the national team". He goes on to say, "Based on that information, US Soccer stands by our decision to allow her to participate with the team as the legal process unfolds. If new information becomes available we will carefully consider it."
