Katie Holmes, the famous ex-wife of Tom Cruise, might just be making the rounds in the Hollywood dating scene.

According to Entertainment.ie, one of the actress's first dating conquest was actor Jamie Foxx, but she may have moved on to greener pastures lately. Now, the news in Celebrity Dirty Laundry is that Holmes has been linked to "True Blood" star Alexander Skarsgard.

That pairing would make sense, given that Holmes and Skarsgard starred together in the soon-to-be-released "The Giver," and any kind of film environment is sure to be a hotbed of chemistry between single actors.

According to their sources, their relationship isn't particularly serious, but it was also blatantly obvious to anyone nearby.

"Their flirtation was one of the worst kept secrets on set. Nobody is surprised that they've been spending time together. They really enjoy each other's company."

Skarsgard and Holmes may progress their relationship further as they continue to do press events for the upcoming release of "The Giver."

Actually, the latest beau of Holmes's might be Jason Segel. Recent rumors claim that when Holmes did a guest spot on Segel's "How I Met Your Mother," sparks flew between the two and a small relationship sparked up.

Stranger things have happened. This, however, may not have- according to Us Weekly, the reports of their romance may have been completely false.

Holmes' rep set things straight in Us Weekly- "The story is completely untrue," said the representative. "The two have not spoken since she appeared on 'How I Met Your Mother.'"

Well, count that as the one set where romance wasn't brewing. Still, among the many men rumored to have held Holmes interest, there's certainly a few that aren't just tabloid nonsense.
