The Fault in Our Stars has already made box office records, and fans in different countries will get to watch the movie soon in theaters and soon in Blu-ray and DVDs. TFIOS will also be coming to Malaysian theaters on July 17, while KpopStarz says there are talks of the hit movie coming to Bollywood.

In a report of KpopStarz the film was reported to have had $48Min earnings on its debut on June 6 alone, while by July 13 its domestic earnings totaled $119,583,000, with its international earnings estimated at $117,717,000.

The story of Hazel and Gus, two individuals who met in a cancer support group, first became popular through a novel written by John Green. Shailene Woodley, who also starred in Divergent as Tris Prior, bagged the role of Hazel Grace Lancaster, while Ansel Elgort, Woodley's brother in Divergent, was given the role of Augustus Waters.

The story, which highlights Hazel's short life riddled with cancer, is partly based on an actual teenager named Esther Earlwho who was diagnosed with thyroid cancer at the age of 12, reports STV Shows. A book of Earl's writings in her journals before passing away has been published by parents Lori and Wayne Earl with the title "This Star Won't Go Out". Unfortunately, Earl passed away in 2010 at the age of 16 and never got to meet her real-life "Gus". When asked about what Earl's reaction would have been about the movie, Wayne said "She would have loved it." Hindustan Times also says that the movie is worth watching because of the good acting performance by Woodley. Also according to the site, Elgort is able to hold his own.

TFIOS, which has been showing internationally for weeks, is reportedly coming to Malaysian theaters on July17.

According to KpopStarz, a high-profile firm director has been trying to safeguard rights to TFIOS for a Hindi version, but with author Green out of the loops on this development, no official confirmation might be seen any time soon.  Meanwhile, fans can get a copy of the movie when it comes out on DVD by September 2014.

Fans seem to have been very excited about the movie, as evidenced by the actual bench used in the film in Holland to have been stolen. Later reports from KpopStarz confirmed that the bench where Hazel and Gus spent some good moments was back in its original spot.
