When Lamar Odom made the rap, which had  the tune of him cheating on her wife Khloe Kardashian, last year, it seemed to have delivered the coup de grace on what was already a relationship on life support. After the rap went viral, Khloe told told Malika Haqq that there was no way Lamar could deny his infidelity to her now that she has watched the rap video with her own eyes.

"And when Khloe's out of town, I guess I'll still be on the DL [down low]," the former NBA sixth man of the year awardee said in the video. The video was broadcasted by TMZ late in November and Khloe filed for divorce in December.

After the divorce plea was filed, however, Odom has been determined to win Khloe's heart back, saying that he intends "to make things work." It maybe a little to late though, as it seems the reality star has already moved on from their relationship and has been reportedly dating French Montana. She has also removed some of the tattoos that reminded her of her troubled ex-husband.

5 years ago, the former Laker's forward and "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" star inked each other's initials after getting happily wedded.  Khloe's tattoo was "LO" while Odom's was "KO".

While Kardashian didn't hesitate on dropping "Odom" from her name on her social media accounts, it appears that she won't be removing her "LO" tattoo after all -  but for how long, remains to be seen. Its amazing why she would still keep tattoo amidst all the infidelity rumors and drug and alcohol accusations which ignited the flames of divorce in their relationship.

Odom, meanwhile, intends to keep her ex-wife's initials inked on his skin maybe to remind him of what he has lost and to inspire him to keep fighting for the revival of their relationship. Odom has been eying an NBA return and has been training hard, physically and mentally, for it.

"He wants her but before he can really come correct and approach her to move forward in their marriage, which he plans to, he wants to wait and make the squad and show her he's ready to commit to her and to basketball," said a source to Hollywood Life. "He's taking these steps very seriously because he knows time for both Khloe and basketball are running out and he's desperately trying to beat both clocks."

Odom has made it known that he is done with the crazy one-night stands and that there is nothing in his mind right now but to get back with Khloe because he respects her and her "independence."

"Lamar's not stupid. He knows a winner when he sees one," said the source. "He knows Khloe's heart and knows what a grounded and loving woman she is. She has all the earmarks of great woman. She's independent. She's got her own money, her own career, comes from a good home and she loves hard. What's not to love about that?"
