The Beauchamp women take a step back in a new episode of "The Witches of East End," and according to Zap2It.com, it is the men of the show who will be dealing with problems.

Season 2's second episode entitled "The Son Also Rises" focuses on Frederick, Killian, and Dash. Frederick, the son who has returned to Earth after living in Asgard, is received with mixed emotions. Joanna sees a loving son, while Wendy is more skeptical. Wendy's sentiments are shared by some viewers with the show laying out that Asgard and Earth are two different worlds. More should be revealed about Frederick in episode 2, since it will be focusing on his loyalty.

Meanwhile, brothers Dash and Killian, the two men in Freya's life, both struggle with their newly-gained powers. Audience will see a moody Dash, who still thinks he has killed his brother. Dash also becomes a mainstay in the attic, where he spends time trying to control his magic.

Killian, on the other hand, is far away and not having a hard time recovering from Freya. With the presence of Eva, who helped nurse him back to health, Killian could be on his way to erasing Freya from his heart? With Eva showing signs of having magic, will we see Killian besting his brother at honing his skills?

In the middle of it all, Freya is still worried about Killian's disappearance. How will she deal with meeting her brother? And will we see romance budding between Dash and a different Beauchamp?

It's not only humans causing problems in East End in the new episode. Bustle's theory of something wicked coming to East End can be described in two words: Ingrid's boyfriend. A monster with tentacles, whom executive producer Maggie Friedman revealed to be a Mandragora, shows itself, making things more interesting for the witches.
