Google, Samsung and Apple appear to have eyes on wearable devices as the next big thing. Here are some interesting features that Google Glass can offer users.

1. Easy navigation and face recognition

-No more looking at your smart phones to determine which direction to go to! Aided by Google Maps, the Google Glass can help direct people to their destination. It is a very intelligent device that will point users to the direction of your destination right in front the user's eyes. As people go about their daily routines, like going to malls or restaurants, there may be familiar faces that they recognize, but don't remember. It will be easy to identify that the person with the help of Google Glass. This will most definitely be helpful when running into people and greeting them.

2. No more language barriers

-When traveling, people usually cannot speak all the local languages of the country they are visiting. There are times when the restaurant menus are in the local language, and it is difficult to understand a single word. Not to worry, Google Glass can handle this. The device allows users to look up and translate any language conveniently. People will be able to read local languages, and they may be able to speak and translate voices.

3. Take videos and pictures

-With the Google Glass, taking pictures and videos will be very convenient. No more taking the phone out of one's pocket to take a photo. No matter where the person is or what he/she is doing, they can effortlessly take photos and videos through their eyes. The only problem with this, is that Google has only used a 5 megapixel camera to take photos. Videos are not on full HD and recorded at 720 pixel resolution. Although mobile phones nowadays have 8 megapixel cameras with 1080 pixel resolutions, the mobility of the Google Glass overcomes this problem.
