California-based e-commerce startup Wanderful Media raises $14.5M in funding

Wanderful Media has secured $14.5 million in its fourth financing round with big media firms as its backers. The company works with American newspaper companies to carry their flyers, deals and coupons, according to VentureBeat.

The latest funding round brings Wanderful Media's total raised capital to $50 million. Advance Digital, Community Newspaper Holdings, Cox, Graham Holdings, MediaNews Group, and Lee Enterprises are among the investors in the said round, the report detailed.

The newspaper deals aggregator also released a new app for Mobile called Find & Save, which is the latest addition to its portfolio of apps for iPad and iPhone. The new app helps users find sales deals in their local area, the report explained.

Wanderful Media claims it powers the shopping sector of newspapers across 250 markets. It counts the San Francisco Chronicle as one of its clients. The firm's showcased deals from over 400 retailers in the US, VentureBeat reported.
