Specialist packaging supplier Arpac has purchased palletiser maker Lambert Material Handling, according to Plastics in Packaging. The financial terms of the acquisition deal were not disclosed in the said report.

Arpac vice president of sales and marketing Gary Ehmka said: "Arpac has strategically grown to be an industry leader in robotic and packaging systems integration by anticipating and understanding the needs of our customers and delivering complete end-of-line integrated solutions that best serve them."

According to Handy Shipping Guide, Arpac supplies packaging systems for end-of-line products. Its portfolio of packaging supplies includes case and tray formers, bundlers, wrappers, and robotics, the report detailed.

Lambert, on the other hand, is a supplier of handling equipment. Its product range includes cranes, vacuum lifting systems, palletisers, and hoists. The company has been manufacturing conventional palletisers for North America for more than six decades already. Lambert is currently based in New York, Handy Shipping Guide reported.
