US scrap metal recycler Upstate Shredding snaps up Brant Auto Parts

Upstate Shredding has purchased Brant Auto Parts in Irving, western New York, according to Observer. The financial value of the acquisition deal was not disclosed in the said report.

Brant Auto Parts former owner Tim Dodson said of the transaction: "We have had a number of suitors looking to acquire our yard as we have continued to grow over the last 10 years. This business has been a fixture in our community and it was very important to us that whomever we considered selling to had the same community focus that we do."

Upstate Shredding bought Brant Auto Parts in an all-cash deal. Under the terms of the transaction, the company will retain the present workers of the acquired company., the report detailed.

Founded in 2003, Brant Auto Parts is a company that recycles ferrous and nonferrous scrap metal and batteries. The firm has been catering to its customers around Buffalo, Dunkirk, and Hamburg for more than a decade already, Observer reported.
