Newsweek: Bitcoin's creator Satoshi Nakamoto identity revealed

A lot of people have been wondering who the creator turned billionaire of the popular digital currency and online payment system, Bitcoin. Newsweek magazine claimed that they had tracked down the mysterious creator of Bitcoin in San Bernardo foothills. The magazine said he was Satoshi Nakamoto, 64, and is living around Los Angeles.

Meanwhile, other reports said that the name Satoshi Nakamoto is actually a pseudonym as the creator of Bitcoin wanted to keep himself away from the limelight. This could have been the reason why until now, the creator of Bitcoin has dwell in secrecy.

Meanwhile, the idea that Bitcoin was created by Nakamoto can be traced back to 2008. This was after a scientific paper was found with a laid out plan for an "electronic payment system based on cryptographic proof instead of trust". The paper was written by a Satoshi Nakamoto was quietly published through a mailing list in the same year, said a report from TheTelegraph.
