Online real estate firm Trulia launched new iPhone and Android apps that now feature attractive property photos. The company aims to help US home buyers choose their new homes faster, according to VentureBeat.

The new Trulia list view now features photos which replaced the old plain-text format of the listing. The apps give the users a feeling similar to browsing through a property magazine rather than an online real estate site, the report detailed.

Potential home buyers can also swipe through the photos in a listing without going through additional details. This gives them a more convenient way of looking at multiple listings and hopefully reduce much of the stress that comes from home hunting, the report explained.

Trulia also announced that over half of its traffic is derived from mobile devices, including its apps and mobile site. According to the real estate firm, more than 60% of communications with agents happen through mobile gadgets, VentureBeat reported.
