Based on a January 24 disclosure to the US Securities and Exchange Commission, Apex has increased its raised equity to over $10 million since November. The document also said the fundraising was backed by 30 investors, the report detailed.

The wind power developer is seeking to raise around $25 million in this funding round. This includes the $5.6 million that it had secured last year, Bloomberg reported.

Founded in 2009, Apex Clean Energy Inc is now made up of a team of 70 professionals experienced in the energy sector. The company develops commercial wind and solar energy facilities across North America.
