European booking agency Skypicker.com recently pocketed $500,000 investment from Touzimsky Airlines. The Czech agency has also acquired its rival WhichAirline.com for an undisclosed sum. Skypicker is a booking agency that focuses on low-cost flight carriers, according to Tnooz.

Investments in the said agency are given in the form of an addition in share capital. A shareholder loan will help the company in its push for further development. The transaction gives Skypicker a fresh source of traffic for its site and an opportunity to tap into the Central European market, the report detailed.

The Czech firm has also purchased metasearch engine WhichAirline. The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed, the report stated.

Founded in April 2012, Skypicker hopes to become a leader in the low-cost flight market within two years. Last year, the company reported a turnover of more than $500,000, the report said.

For the meantime, both Skypicker and WhichAirline will operate as separate websites, Tnooz reported.
