DFW Capital Partners has closed its fourth investment fund, DFW Capital Partners IV. The private equity firm generated $162.5 million in capital commitments for the said fund. This amount exceeded its original target of $150 million, according to The Middle Market.

To date, DFW has facilitated three transactions with cash from the fund. In March last year, the firm made an equity investment in tech services provider Information Innovators Inc. In January this year, the company struck a partnership with Iroquois Capital and PineBridge Investments on a $35-million senior preferred equity investment in Tennessee-based Covenant Surgical Partners, the report detailed.

The Teaneck, New Jersey-based firm followed that transaction with an investment in the parent company of Sebela International Ltd and Sebela Pharmaceuticals Inc. The deal was done in August 2013. The terms of each transaction were not disclosed, the report stated.

Griffin Financial Group acted as the placement agent in the fundraising, The Middle Market reported.
