Colorado-based firm CSG International acquires Volubill key assets

Business support solutions provider CSG International has acquired key assets of Volubill, a company that provides policy and charging solutions to broadband and mobile operators. This was according to a report published on Telecom Lead.

According to CSG, the acquisition enhances its existing billing and revenue management offerings. The deal will also help CSG in the expansion of its charging policy reach and expertise, the report explained. Service providers worldwide use Volubill products to market and monetize new digital and communication-based services. The acquisition deal will help the company's customers gain CSG's expertise in revenue management and telecom billing, the report detailed.

David Heaps, CSG's senior vice president of Business Strategy, said, "Our clients are always looking for the most effective ways to maximize the value from the data and traffic that travel across their networks, and Volubill was an early innovator in that space."

Service providers all over the world are seeking more profitable revenue streams through network data and enhanced customer service. As a result, charging and policy become the center of integrated service delivery, the report onTelecom Lead said.
