Roberts said of the new Star Citizen's Squadron 42 campaign, "From opening with an epic battle instead of a training patrol to missions that seamlessly combine boarding and space combat, we aim to put you right into the action! Additional funding will let the team realize this, with enhanced mission design and more resources and animations to enhance fidelity."

Star Citizen's next aim is tp raise US32 million in additional funding for more improvements in the game. The game is slated to launch in 2015. Roberts recently said Star Citizen can only be played on the personal computer (PC). He said the game will not be made available to other platforms, Polygon reported.
