1001 Menus snags USD1.8 million in Series A funding from Elaia Partners

Parisian startup 1001 Menus raised USD1.8 million in a funding round led by Elaia Partners. With the new infusion of capital, the company aims to accelerate its commercial development in Europe. This was according to a report published by EU Startups.

1001 Menus is a company that helps restaurants achieve online visibility. The company was founded by Thomas Zeitoun, Xavier Zeitoun, and Julien Balmont in 2011. The startup began as an online directory for restaurants. In 2012, the company started developing a tool to maximize the online visibility of its clients. 1001 Menus currently employs 18 people. To date, the company has around 1,000 restaurants in its directory, said the report.

The Paris-based company gives restaurant owners a dashboard to monitor online communication portals. Using the 1001 Menus platform, restaurant owners can update photos, menus, and other information with a single click. 1001 Menus offers online booking, call tracking, and loyalty programs to help its clients boost return of investment and conversion, EU Startups reported.
