LED lighting solutions developer Ledzworld raised USD5 million in a recent funding round. The company will use the new round for the global expansion of its sales and manufacturing operations. This was according to a report published by Fin SMEs on its website.

Ledzworld is a tech firm that caters to the LED lighting market. It focuses on the development, design, and production of LED lighting solution for a set of given brands. The company's products include LED modules and LED lamps that use a technology platform that helps provide compatibility with present infrastructure as well as easy installation, the report said.

Ledzworld is currently based in the Netherlands. The company's newly appointed Chief Executive Officer is Chief Technology Officer Ken Chakravarti. The company operates its own supply and manufacturing facility in Penang, Malaysia. The tech firm reaches out to its international client base through its sales offices in the US and in Europe, Fin SMEs reported.
