Email productivity startup Yesware bought email file sharing startup Attachments.me for an undisclosed amount. This was Yesware's first acquisition, according to a report published by TechCrunch.

Yesware is a Boston-based startup company that provides email productivity service for salespeople. Recently, it raised USD13.5 million in Series B funding, the report said.

Attachments.me is a San Francisco-based startup that helps users find and securely share documents, and send and track large attachments. The company would be shutting down today and would establish a new office with Yesware in Boston, said the report.

According to Attachments.me CEO Jesse Miller, the company had failed to achieve its monetization target. The startup had less than 310,000 registered users and was had difficulty growing revenue, TechCrunch said.

Miller said joining Yesware would be the best option for the company. He also added that the file sharing startup did not run out of money and that investors would get their returns, the report stated.
