Carolyn Mathis joins the Florida Venture Forum Board of Directors

The Florida Venture Forum, the oldest, largest and most prestigious statewide support group for venture capitalists and entrepreneurs, today announced that Carolyn Mathis, Partner with Harbor View Advisors, Ponte Vedra, Florida has joined the organization’s Board of Directors.

Ms. Mathis is a Partner with Harbor View Advisors, where she advises clients in the software and service sectors. She has spent over 20 years in the investment banking industry, including twelve years with Goldman Sachs and five years with Donaldson, Lufkin and Jenrette. During her tenure on Wall Street, she has worked with corporate and institutional clients globally, advising on all facets of capital markets activity from M&A to IPO’s and secondary offerings. Ms. Mathis sits on the Foundation Board of the University of North Florida, where she serves as Vice Chair of the Investment Committee. She is also a member of the Advisory Board of the Jacksonville Women’s Business Center. Ms. Mathis holds a Bachelor of Arts from Dickinson College and a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Chicago. She is registered with FINRA and holds Series 7, 24, 28, 63 and 79 licenses.
