Scandinavian municipal waste management firm RenoNorden recently announced the appointment of Staffan Ebenfelt as Group CEO effective January 2014.

For the past 13 years, Ebenfelt was working at Coor Services Management in the latest capacity as Executive Vice President. Prior to that, he was the Nordic facilities management company's head of Swedish business, Coor's most lucrative unit with an annual turn over of SEK5 billion. He was also responsible for business operations in Belgium, Hungary and Poland. In his multiple roles with Coor, he was able to provide leadership in the development and implementation of Coor strategies in driving efficiencies and develop new business relationships in the leadership team throughout multiple private equity ownerships.

According to Reno Norden Chairman Kate Briant, "We are delighted to have someone of Staffan's reputation, experience and track record to join us as Group CEO. Staffan will bring tremendous energy to the role and will leverage the Group's considerable resources to strengthen our already strong market positions. The Board looks forward to working with Staffan to further grow the business both organically and through acquisitions."
