Middle market investment bank MHT opened its doors to the public in 2001 because of its expertise in serving the financial needs of its growing tech enabled businesses. The bank was founded by Mike McGill and Shawn D. Terry and with an objective to provide the middle market with a team of experienced and skilled investment bankers experienced from work with strategic consulting firms.

On the other hand, Midspan was established in San Francisco back in 2010 to provide high quality mergers and acquisitions as well as capital fundraising advisory services. Founded by Pat Crocker and Craig Lawson, the goal was to make available to the middle market businesses banking experience and expertise.

The two banks have merged to create MHT MidSpan, creating a middle market investment bank that is focused on high growth companies. WIth MHT MidSpan, the expertise of the two individual banks now has a portfolio of services such as seller advisory services, acquisition advisory services, corporate finance and strategic advisory assignments.
