DoubleTree by Hilton opens in Wuhu, China

Today, DoubleTree by Hilton announced that DoubleTree by Hilton Wuhu had been open in Anhui Province, China. This opening coincided with the 25th year of Hilton Worldwide's presence in the country. 

The 26-storey hotel is located at the heart of the business and shopping district of Anhui. It boasts 442 contemporary guest rooms, 23 suites, 5 restaurants, 9 function rooms, and the largest ballroom in the city that could accommodate up to 1,100 guests. The run is operated by Hilton Worldwide and owned by Wuhu Shimao New Century Property Co., Ltd.

According to John Greenleaf, the global head of DoubleTree by Hilton, the hotel's services focused on CARE for their guests and team. The acronym stood for "Create A Rewarding Experience." CARE would have the management ensure that they pamper their guests with unique treats and rewards.

To highlight the hotel's opening, Hilton HHonors members would gain extra points for for booking rooms for the dates between October 31, 2013 to April 30, 2014. Customers would also be given a chance to win an overnight stay in other DoubleTree by Hilton hotels in China. Hilton HHonors membership is free of charge.
