Audi, Porsche and Volkswagen distributor set to expand in UAE

This Monday, Al Nabooda Automobiles was in its key area of growth in its AED900 million investment programme. At this stage, the distributor would be expanding its Porsche, Audi and Volkswagen operations in Dubai and the Northern Emirates.

Construction is underway as to a new Porsche showroom at a cost of AED144 million located on Sheikh Zayed Road in Dubai. In Sharjah, a facility costing AED120 million where Audi, Porsche and Volkswagen vehicles, showrooms and workshops is set to open by next month. This was confirmed through a company statement made public.

The company added that construction would also be started for one of the world's largest Audi repair shops in Dubai at a cost of AED133 million within the next few weeks. The said facility's completion is set for the end of 2014.

The statement read, "Also pending final approvals. construction will commence soon on a AED256 million vehicle pre-delivery center and paint and body shop on a massive 130,000 square meter site at Jebel Ali. This is scheduled for completion at the end of 2015."
