SAC Capital Advisors LP's Lia Forcina had managed over USD700 million during her stint in the firm. She has quit her post and moved her talents to BlueCrest Capital Management LLP. This was confirmed by three people with knowledge of the matter.

Forcina had agreed to join the BlueCrest management team this month, according to the anonymous sources. During her time at SAC, she was a portfolio manager based in London, who traded stocks of financial employees.

There has been a trend that traders have been leaving the London office of SAC this year. The former SAC employees choose competitors such as BlueCrest and Milennium Management LLC, as Steven A. Cohen's firm have been litigating allegations of insider trading. There is a current grand jury indictment on SAC since July alleging that USD14 billion firm engaged in illegal trading for nearly ten years.

Forcina is the fifth portfolio manager to leave SAC UK, according to records submitted to regulatory authorities. The other departures include Alidod Shirinbekov to BlueCrest and John Levavasseur at Milennium.
