According to information secured by tech site Android Police, the much-anticipated Nexus 5 had revealed a majority of its specifications. Android Police referred to a leaked service manual it had obtained that seemed to confirm some of the mobile device's specifications.

Google's latest product, Nexus 5, would have a quad-core Snapdragon processor and a 5-inch screen. The manual indicated that the mobile device would be also equipped with 2 gigabytes of random access memory or RAM and an 8 megapixel camera with optical image stabilization. Nexus 5 would also have near field communication (NFC), which allows smartphones and similar devices to establish radio communication with each other.

The tech giant's Nexus line was created to provide a dedicated user experience to Android. This means the gadgets would not run or have experience with third-party software. Although it was a promising mobile product line, its revenues may have not been profitable for Google. The tech giant missed second quarter earnings per share (EPS) predictions of Wall Street analysts at USD10.78 on USD14.4 billion sales. Google only posted a USD9.56 EPS on a USD14.11 billion revenue.
