Trilantic Capital Partners would be acquiring Addison Group from Lake Capital Partners for an undisclosed amount. The acquisition was in line with a partnership agreement entered into by Addison and Trilantic supporting Addison Group's growth. William Blair & Company advised Addison Group on the deal.

A Chicago-based professional staffing services company, Addison is a leader in the staffing industry, based on its inclusion in various Best of Staffing lists. Addison Group Chief Executive Officer Thomas B. Moran said they are excited about the deal. Moran added, "We look forward to Trilantic's strategic and financial support as we continue to execute on our growth strategy, which includes expanding nationally through both organic initiatives and executing tuck-in acquisitions."

Trilantic Partner Jon Mattson said they plan to give additional strategic capital to Addison in order to fuel growth and support future purchases. A private equity firm that focuses on energy, financial, consumer and business services sectors, Trilantic currently has USD 5.9 billion in aggregate capital commitments.
