CNH Industrial opens its trading on NYSE

On Monday, CNH Industrial started trading on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE). CNH Industrial is a truck and tractor maker. The company's shares opened at USD12.75 on their first day of trading at NYSE.

CNH Industrial is the new name adapted for the company after the merger of Fiat Industrial and its CNH unit was completed. The new name for the group would take effect on Monday. The combined shares of the group shifted their primary listing from the stock exchange in Milan to New York.

The secondary listing of CNH Industrial was in Milan. The shares of the company debuted at EUR9.56 per share price. In 2011, Italian car maker Fiat spun off Fiat Industrial from the company.

Last Friday, Fiat Industrial closed at EUR9.75 during its last day of trading.

CNH Industrial operates to build construction equipment, trucks and agricultural machinery. The company operates in 190 countries with around 65,000 workers.
