MediSafe one of the best mobile medication management solution providers, recently announced it had raised USD1 million in funding. The funding round was led by TriVentures and lool Ventures, as well as other angel investors.

Aside from the funding, the company had entered into partnerships with healthcare organizations to better manage medication adherence. The funds were to be allocated to construct partnership programs with pharmaceutical companies, pharmacies, HMOs, hospitals and employers. This would be achieved through the utilization of MediSafe's top solution to assist patients in the proper medication intake at specific time intervals.

According to MediSafe CEO Omri 'Bob' Shor, "MediSafe is making invaluable patient behaviour data available to healthcare leaders that have the resources to create programs and solutions that will help increase medication adherence. Having access to real-time adherence data that has been categorized and analyzed is going to change the way our healthcare system approaches the issue of medication management."
