Veeva Systems files registration statement for IPO

Veeva Systems Inc. is a leading provider of cloud based software solutions for the global life sciences industry. Today, the company announced filing a registration statement on Form S-1 with the US Securities and Exchange Commission for a proposed initial public offering. Veeva Systems Inc. had planned and IPO of its common stock. However, the number of shares to be offered had not yet been determined. The price for the IPO was also not mentioned.

Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC and Deutsche Bank Securities Inc. were appointed as book running managers for the IPO.  Pacific Crest Securities LLC, Stifel, Nicolaus & Company, Incorporated, BMO Capital Markets Corp., and Canaccord Genuity Inc. would act as co-managers for the proposed initial public offering. Veeva had intended to list its common stock on the New Year Stock Exchange under the trading symbol "VEEV".

The registration statement of Veeva's proposed IPO had been filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission but had not yet become effective.
