Lombard Investment closes fourth Asia Fund

The fourth Asia fund of Lombard Investments was hard-capped at USD350 million and was closed back in July 18, 2013. The said fund was oversubscribed, with Lombard Asia IV LP completing the amount after eighteen months.

In the last twelve months, Lombard had accumulated a total of USD290 million in total proceeds from two completed and two partial exits from the toal of ten investments made by Lombard Asia III. This fund was subscribed at USD234 million and was established back in 2007.

One of the fund's most recent moves was the exit from its investment in San Shing Fastech of Taiwan. San Shing is a global parts manufacturer of high performance fasteners. For this investment, an initial USD15 million was done realizing a 2.6 multiplier totalling USD40 million. Lombard had provided financial and technical assistance to San Shing as to technology acquisition and market expansion to Brazil and North America.
