Last Friday, the Chicago Cubs said that the team had signed a deal with Anheuser-Busch InBev. This could mean that the Budweiser logo would be seen in the right field at Wrigley Field.

An Anheuser-Busch InBev official said that the agreement would be for exclusive marketing partnership for the beer and malt beverages at Wrigley Field. The deal had also applied to the Cubs' spring training facility in Mesa Ariz.

In a news release, the Cubs' officials said that the agreement would mean that the team had ended a decade long marketing relationship with Old Style by 2014. It would also mean that the signs from Old Style would be removed.

The announced deal was a part of a renovation project for the 99 year old ballpark. The said deal was valued USD500 million which was approved by the city of Chicago. However, rooftop owners said that any sign that would cut their views would surely threaten the existence of their businesses.
