FilmTrack receives USD20 million equity investment

One of the leading firms in software as a service platform as well as rights and content management for the film, television and video industry, FilmTrack, announced the closure of a USD20 million equity investment from Insight Venture Partners. 

FilmTrack would be utilizing the proceeds of the investment round for the management and monetization of their intellectual properties, Included in the terms of the investment would be the inclusion of Insight Venture Partners Managing Directors Peter Sobiloff and Nikitas Koutoupas as members of the board of directors of FilmTrack. Also to become a member of the board of directors at FilmTrack would be long time active strategic advisor Michael Lang.
