BioReference Laboratories, Inc shared that they have entered into a definitive agreement with Edge Biosystems CLIA, a genetic sequencing service located in Gaithersburg.

GeneDx, BRLI's own clinical diagnostic sequencing laboratory, will take over Edge BioServe genetic sequencing services. The purchase of Edge includes machine and competences that will boost GeneDx services and preserve its status as the foremost provider of clinical genetic sequencing services. GeneDx also trusts that the purchase of Edge BioSystems will cultivate their services further through the added apparatus and infrastructure from Edge BioSystems.
