Publicis Groupe purchases Halyard Capital's Engauge Marketing

Halyard Capital sold its portfolio company Engauge Marketing to Publicis Groupe. No financial details were provided about the deal. Financial advice was given to Halyard Capital and Enguage Marketing by Petsky Prunier.  Legal counsel was provided to the sellers by Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld Llp. Publicis was represented by attorneys from the law firm of Davis & Gilbert.

Based in New York, Halyard Capital is a private equity fund. It established Enguage together with Stan Rapp and launched it in 2007. Enguage is a marketing agency that provides digital advertising and advertising services. It has more than thirty clients to date, including Coca-Cola, Cisco Systems and Nationwide Insurance, among others.

Enguage Chief Executive Officer Nick Bandy thanked Halyard Capital for the guidance the firm gave Enguage in the past six years. "The acquisition by Publicis Groupe validates our strategy and will benefit both our clients and our employees, as we tap into the resources and expertise of one of the world's leading communication groups," he added.
