J-Pac, a manufacturing company that services the diagnostics, medical device, life sciences and pharmaceutical industries, announced that it had appointed Mark Florence as its new President and Chief Executive Officer. J-Pac is a portfolio firm of the Torque Capital Group. Florence previously worked with Nx Stage Medical, McKesson, Bayer, and Abbot Laboratories, bringing with him thirty years of experience in his new role. He will rely on his extensive knowledge of product development and commercialization as the company employs its manufacturing processes to enable clients to expand existing markets and capitalize on fresh opportunities.
J-Pac Chairman of the Board Joseph Parzick said Florence's record will accelerate the company's growth. "He is an industry veteran who understands the importance of delivering on commitments, and we are confident that his leadership, collaborative style and commitment to the customer experience will be a tremendous asset to our team," he said. The incoming president and CEO, on the other hand, looks forward to his new role. "J-Pac is an exciting and growing organization with a tremendous opportunity to help its business partners improve patient outcomes," Florence said.
