Allegis Capital reveals four new Venture Partners

Allegis Capital announced the company had appointed four new security managers who joined the venture capital firm as Venture Partners. Allegis Capital is a venture capital firm that targets early-stage companies. The firm operates from its headquarters in Palo Alto, California. Allegis Capital has an established emphasis on investment opportunities in cyber security startups.

The new venture partners allow Allegis Capital to widen its competence in cyber security. The new executives include: Nawaf Bitar, Dr. Hossein Eslambolchi, Tom Gillis, and Jeffrey Williams. Mr. Bitar is an executive at the Security Business Unit of Juniper Networks. Dr. Eslambolchi is the chief exectuive and founder of a cyber security analytics enterprise, CyberFlow Analytics. Mr. Gillis is a former executive at Cisco Systems' Security Technology Group. Mr. Williams is an executive at FireEye Inc.

According to the founder and a managing director at Allegis Capital, Robert Ackerman, "Cyber Security has been both an area of investment focus and investment success for Allegis for a number of years. We have had the great pleasure of working with all four of our new Venture Partners as entrepreneurs over the past 10 years. Their formal addition to our team as Venture Partners recognizes our past successes together while more tightly integrating their considerable expertise and market perspective into our cyber security investment initiatives."
