Brazos Private Equity Partners purchased Southern Tide for an undisclosed amount. Southern Tide is a United States apparel maker best known for its Skipjack polo line. It is also considered as one of the most promising lifestyle brands in the country. Southern Tide also offers its clientele swimwear, outerwear, shirts, shorts, pants, footwear as well as men's accessories. There are more than 750 premium specialty retailers selling the Southern Tide brand in the US, Bermuda, and the Virgin Islands. It holds headquarters in Greenville, South Carolina.

Co-Founding Partner and Co-CEO of Brazos Randall Fojtasek said he is thrilled at the partnership. "Southern Tide's focus on quality and innovative design has created a very loyal consumer following and we look forward to working with the Company to continue to grow the Southern Tide brand." As part of the agreement, Brazos will support Southern Tide's future growth by providing it with the needed financial and operational resources.
