Tiger Woods, one of the greatest golfers of all time, is now well on his way in returning to the form that saw him win four PGA Tour titles this year. Now at the Firestone Country Club, he carded a 61 to lead the pack with a seven stroke lead going into the tournament's second round.

The 61 was the best score that Tiger Woods has made and he had done this before in this very tournament back in 2000. He also made 61 round during the 1999 Byron Nelson Classic and the 2005 Buick Open. The PGA Tour record is a 59 and was done only five times in tournament play.

Woods had the 59 within reach all day. When asked about if he was disappointed if he didn't get the fabled 59, he said, "Disappointed? Absolutely not. A 61's pretty good. I'm not bummed."

Now, with fourteen Major wins under his belt and a career total earnings of US$78.1 million is the way that this golf prodigy celebrates. According to Forbes Magazine, this year alone, he has won around US$13.1 million in tournament winnings. Aside from the golf prizes, he has collected over US$10 million as appearance fees in golf events in Turkey, Malaysia, China and Abu Dhabi.
