A popular holiday cake famously gifted by actor Tom Cruise has been recalled due to serious health concerns.
Doan's Bakery, based in Woodland Hills, California, is recalling its well-known White Chocolate Coconut Bundt Cake and Carrot Bundt Cake after discovering they may contain undeclared wheat and milk, the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) announced on October 1.
According to People, these cakes were shipped across the country through the website Goldbelly.com between June 1 and September 24, 2025.
The recall was prompted by a labeling mistake found during a routine inspection at the bakery last month.
The undeclared ingredients are especially dangerous for people with allergies to wheat or milk. The FDA warns that eating these cakes could lead to serious or even life-threatening allergic reactions.
No illnesses have been reported, and Doan's Bakery says it has already corrected the labeling issue.

Fans Warned as Cruise's Coconut Cake Gets Recalled
The White Chocolate Coconut Cake, in particular, has gained fame because Tom Cruise reportedly sends it to his friends and co-stars each holiday season.
Although Goldbelly doesn't name him directly, the cake is described as a "personal favorite of one famous actor." The sweet treat is sold on the site for $110, and the Carrot Cake sells for $106, CBS News reported.
Over the years, Cruise's holiday gift has become a beloved tradition among celebrities. Stars like Jimmy Fallon, Kirsten Dunst, Angela Bassett, and even the late Barbara Walters have received the cake.
In 2022, Rosie O'Donnell posted a photo of her cake along with a holiday card from Cruise.
"It's insane," said bakery founder Karen Doan in an earlier interview. "Jimmy Fallon once told me, 'You know what we have to look forward to next month? Tom's coconut cake.'"
Actor Glen Powell, Cruise's co-star in "Top Gun: Maverick," also shared his excitement on Instagram when he received the cake last December, writing, "The Cruise cake has arrived..." with a cake emoji.
The FDA urges anyone with wheat or milk allergies who bought the cakes between June and September to avoid eating them.
