HealthTech Solutions Group, a service provider of management software, announced on Tuesday its acquisition of GAFFEY for a yet undisclosed amount.

HunMi Pak, Chief Executive Officer of GAFFEY, said that they are thrilled about becoming part of HealthTech because of their reputation in the industry. "We are thrilled about becoming part of HealthTech and to be joining the Altaris portfolio of companies," said HunMi.

Derek Morkel, HealthTech's CEO, said combining the two companies means they will be able to offer a complete solution package by leveraging on the skills of the personnel and the value of their products. "Our customers routinely are requesting solutions that reduce the number of vendors and provide a single workflow platform for their entire revenue cycle," he said.

Morkel particularly cited the leading claims management software package of GAFFEY and the automation tools of Healhtech. He said joining the two can deliver a total solutions suite for financial and billing claims, collections, best practices benchmarking and business intelligence.
