New Leaders Appointed for Ram and Dodge Brands of Stellantis

Christine Feuell, who is the head of the Chrysler brand, has been chosen to take on the additional responsibility of being Ram brand CEO. Following her tenure as Honeywell Safety and Productivity Solutions' chief commercial officer, Feuell assumed the role of Chrysler CEO in September 2021.

On the other hand, Matt McAlear, who previously headed the Dodge brand's sales operations, has been designated as its CEO. According to Stellantis, his extensive background in the automotive and technology industries and his time at Dodge make him an ideal candidate to spearhead the brand. These leadership adjustments will take effect on June 1.

Tim Kuniskis Retires After 32 Years With Stellantis

Tim Kuniskis began his career with Stellantis in 1992 and worked his way up the ranks, according to the Detroit News. In early 2021, he took over as head of Dodge. A year ago, his responsibilities were extended to include Ram as well.

Before this, he oversaw the operations of Jeep in North America, Alfa Romeo, and Maserati, among other brands. While Kuniskis was at the helm, Dodge promoted several ferocious special editions of the V8-powered Challenger coupe. It also introduced its first all-electric vehicle (EV), the Charger Daytona, which will hit the market later this year.

In a press statement, Stellantis CEO Carlos Tavares expressed his deepest gratitude to Kuniskis for his work and contributions to the company and for helping to shape the future of the Ram and Dodge brands as EVs.

Tavares also recognized the new CEOs in his remarks. He expressed his confidence in Feuell's ability to carry on Kuniskis' work as leader of the Ram brand and in McAlear's ability to provide a new outlook while honoring Dodge's legacy and leading the brand toward a sustainable future.
