According to Electrek's latest report, Elon Musk confirmed on Tuesday, Mar. 26, that all "U.S. cars that are capable of FSD will be enabled for a one-month trial this week."

The billionaire shared this effort after @Teslamojo said the FSD Beta trial should include existing owners who have never experienced the EV software.

Elon Musk's announcement quickly generated over 530,000 views, 5,400 likes and 1,400 retweets. Many Tesla fans shared their excitement, saying that what the billionaire announced is huge.

Others asked if this would also be the case in Australia, Canada, and other countries with Tesla EVs. As of this writing, the billionaire hasn't confirmed whether other countries will also be able to participate in a free Tesla FSD trial.

Other Tesla Efforts of Elon Musk

Aside from the free Tesla FSD trial, Elon Musk told his Tesla employees that they must start giving demo drives of FSD to all new Tesla owners.

This means that staff must teach customers how to use the latest version of Tesla FSD before completing a vehicle delivery. However, in the meantime, the free demo is available only in North America.

"Going forward, it is mandatory in North America to install and activate FSD V12.3.1 and take customers on a short test ride before handing over the car," said Elon Musk.

"Almost no one actually realizes how well (supervised) FSD actually works. I know this will slow down the delivery process, but it is nonetheless a hard requirement," he added.
