Pexco LLC is a leading specialty plastics extruder-processor in North America. The company had purchased Scandia Plastics Inc, a custom extrusion business headquartered in Plaistow, New Hampshire.

Pexco Chief Executive Officer, Neil Shillingford said that the acquisition of Scandia Plastics is a perfect move for the company. This is because Scandia brings value to its clients through its high performance in extrusion processing and finishing. Further he said that Pexco is very happy with Scandia joining the company.

Scandia Plastics was founded in 1971 by Dave Hallett. Today, the company has established its name as a supplier of rigid extruded tube casings to both life science and industrial filtration industries.  The company has 12 production lines with around 50 workers. Pexco will remain its operation in its headquarters in Plaistow with Hallett maintaining his position as President of site operations. The acquisition is the first addition to the Pexco portfolio after being purchased by Odyssey Investment Partners LLC in August last year.
